SelectVetrite® are slabs of glass, pure matter, with a unique formula of polymers and metals inserted in between. The slabs can be curved depending on the project need, double-sided or not, and backlit for a high scenic impact. They are suitable for application on external coatings as well as flooring. Besides, they’re also perfect for creating entire kitchens of great originality.
Vetrite opalescent slabs of all the collections can be backlit, becoming not only a wall but also a source of light for the ambience in which they’re inserted. The panel can include a touch switch directly in its structure.
The potential for use in the architecture of the curved slabs allows functional and decorative installations. The technical and innovative competence of SICIS has made it possible to create curved Vetrite slabs in a double-sided version, reconciling design and aesthetics. The curvature can have an arrow up to 20 cm.
For particular uses that require high degrees of resistance to thermal shocks, such as for hobs or, more generally, for kitchen tops, we produce borosilicate glass slabs, according to DIN ISO 3585 and EN 1748 T1 standards.
